ISWA State Elementary Duals

Avon Wrestling Club fielded two of the 16 teams entered in the second annual ISWA Elementary Dual State Championships on Saturday 1/8. Both AWC teams competed well, with Avon Gold going 4-1 on their way to a runner-up finish, and Avon Black going 3-2 and a 5th place finish. Congrats to all members of Avon Wrestling.

Orioles go 4-1 at the Super Six

The AHS Wrestlers hosted the Avon Super Six on January 7. The young Oriole team continued to show improvment going 4-1 as a team.

Individuals going undefeated on the day were B. Helm and J. Zorniger. AHS will be back in action at the HCC Tournament this Saturday 1/14 at Brownsburg. The Junior Varsity will also be in action at Ben Davis.
