AWC Beginners Tournament

To register your club for the February 19th Beginners Tournament email us at info@avonwrestling.org. We will send you the necessary registration files to get your wrestlers entered in the tournament. Please return your entries no later than 11:00pm Wednesday, February 15th. Thank you for your interest in our tournament.

Five Advance to Semi-State

The Orioles advanced five wrestlers to the 2012 Evansville Semi-State. Leading the way with an IHSAA Regional title was D. Jones. Earning runner-up honors were J. Zorniger and B. Snyder. Also advancing for the Orioles were B. Rassbach and N. Etienne. Each wrestler now finds himself two wins away from wrestling in the 2012 IHSAA State Finals.

ISWA State Elementary Duals

Avon Wrestling Club fielded two of the 16 teams entered in the second annual ISWA Elementary Dual State Championships on Saturday 1/8. Both AWC teams competed well, with Avon Gold going 4-1 on their way to a runner-up finish, and Avon Black going 3-2 and a 5th place finish. Congrats to all members of Avon Wrestling.
